  • Extensive FEA analysis and weight reduction experience (FEA using LS-DYNA) vehicle crash analysis.
  • Extensive NVH experience (noise / vibration harshness).
  • Stress analysis experience with Nastran.
  • Model creation experience with Altair HyperMesh.

A CFD Software Developer / Project Scientist is required for a contract position working for a large aerospace organisation. Working on several new projects this role will involve responsibility for mathematical modelling and therefore writing software to solve mathematical problems. The candidate will develop software in C++ and have worked in a scientific computing environment as well as come from a CFD background and have experience of mesh generation.

The successful Software Developer will have the following skills:

Mesh generation
Mathematical modelling
