Our client is well established R&D unit looking to recruit Applications Engineer: Linear and Non-Linear Structural Mechanics.

The candidate will provide technical support for users of Multiphysics in the field of Structural Mechanics (FEA), Develop and teach training classes in structural mechanics modelling.


Business oriented and willing to work with customers on a daily basis
Genuine interest of mathematical modelling, computational physics, and related software simulation tools, particularly within the field of continuum mechanics
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High energy, self-motivated, quick study with positive attitude, flexible nature and goal-oriented work habits

M.S. or Ph.D. in engineering, physical sciences, or life sciences
Demonstrated experience with computational modelling of Maxwell’s equations in low- and high-frequency regimes.

C++ Developer Cambridge

Our well established client is looking for C++ developer based in Cambridge
As a C++ developer with several years’ commercial experience, or at least a 2.1 honours degree, you will be skilled at designing and implementing solutions to challenging technical problems. In this job, you will be working with our existing C++ framework to implement new functionality in one or more of the following areas:
• 3D cross-platform client application
• Parallel/distributed mesh generation server
•Process integration and C++ binding to scripted languages
You will be familiar with modern C++ design techniques and patterns including smart pointers and template programming. You should have some awareness of cross-platform development or have developed software within a Unix/Linux environment. Some knowledge of at least one of the technologies below will be needed:
•Qt graphical user interface toolkit
•3D graphics libraries or GPU programming
•Networked client/server application development
•MPI (Message Passing Interface) or parallel programming
•Computational geometry, mesh generation or Computer Aided Engineering
As well as offering exposure to a broad range of existing technologies, the position also demands the ability to work individually to create novel algorithms or designs. You would be joining a team of first-class software developers in contributing to the core of a growing product, creating innovative software of the highest standard. As such, experience of code documentation and software version control systems would also be valuable.
Salary: £30K to £50K

Sales Engineer
  • Expand sales of Multiphysics software to engineers, managers, scientists, and academics
  • Develop new and existing leads through phone calls and presentations
  • Identify, nurture and develop potential sales accounts
  • Create clear, simple presales simulation examples to excite prospects and demonstrate our products
  • Provide some pre- and post-sales technical support directly and through client support team
  • Present client capabilities and its use at public seminars, customer-site presentations and professional conferences
  • Some travel required (10-20%)


  • Masters or Ph.D. in engineering, physical sciences, or life sciences
  • Excellent time-management skills – balancing multiple demands from many prospects
  • Positive, outgoing personality. Business acumen
  • Excellent communications skills, in person, on the phone and in writing. Strong public speaking skills
  • Experience with computer modelling, FEA analysis or computational physics. Previous experience with any Multiphysics preferable, but not required

Advanced Application Engineer (FEA)

My client is looking for an Advanced Applications Engineer to join the
European Aerospace Industry Team.

The Aerospace Industry Team is responsible for the FEA software business in major aerospace accounts in
Europe and provides aerospace-related support to marketing, product management, and pre-sales &
consulting activities.

The successful candidate will provide technical backup to the team and technical pre-sales support
to the customers and prospects. This will involve: visits to customers and prospects to identify
requirements; preparing and delivering technical presentations; carrying out demonstration analyses
and benchmarks using FEA (Prefer Abaqus, CATIA) and Isight; and developing potential services opportunities.

Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering is a minimum
requirement, together with at least 5 years industrial experience of finite element analysis,
preferably using Abaqus.

Experience of the aerospace industry is desirable.

Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English are essential for this position. The
successful candidate will be highly motivated and be comfortable working in a small team.
