Product Application Engineer (London)

Our multinational client is looking for Product Application Engineer.  Being a part of Product Management team contributing in delivering high-quality, world class and robust engineering software solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and delivery of application specific demonstration cases in a timely manner in support of product management activities.
  • Work in close conjunction with the marketing team to help prepare product collateral including material for the corporate website, product brochures and flyers.
  • Provide feedback on product usability and robustness and working with the rest of the product and development teams to improve overall product quality.

The position involves co-ordination and communication across global organization. The role has opportunities for both professional and personal advancement, working in close conjunction with the product development, customer support and marketing teams.

The requirements are:

  • Good postgraduate degree (PhD, MSc, MEng, or equivalent) in CFD or a closely related field such as Mechanical, Chemical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Good understanding of CFD methodologies and associated physics
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Energetic, self-motivated and adaptable
  • Experience with commercial CFD software

The following traits constitute a distinct advantage:

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of various industrial applications
  • Experience using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Pro/E, NX or inventor
  • Inquisitive and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work individually and as a part of a team
